Eliminating a Windows blue screen requires complex file recovery
Just this morning a friend mentioned to me that his son had seen what is called the blue screen of death on his computer. This is an error screen that appears on computers using various versions of the Windows operating system. It happens when crucial files needed for computer start up are corrupted and lost. How does this happen? Usually this problem occurs just because there was a blip in the power during computer start up or while writing a file. This results in other files being half overwritten and this in turn creates a file that does not function. This is much the same as if you were to start writing one word then switch to writing another. The resultant word has no meaning.
So how does my friend rescue his computer that will not load without losing three years worth of videos? The problem is called file recovery and is solved by using a third party file recovery program. Powerful file recovery programs can quickly scan a hard rive and recognized any files that are a mish mash. These files can automatically be restored to their original structure. And this in turn allows the applications of the files to activate. And finally allow the computer to load its programs and start.
